Physical Therapist
Aladino (AJ) Gregorio’s journey of becoming a physical therapist started as a sophomore in high school when he tore his ACL playing football. The injury required reconstructive surgery and months of therapy. After being exposed to physical therapy, AJ knew what he wanted to do and was inspired to become a physical therapist. Along the way, AJ spent two years at Nassau Community College and completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree at Hofstra University.
While researching PT programs, AJ landed on NYIT, a school with a strong reputation for its expertise in manual treatment. During his time at NYIT, AJ had several clinical rotations in multiple settings including outpatient orthopedic, outpatient neurological, and acute bedside. Since graduating in 2016, AJ has become certified in Instrumental Assisted Soft Tissue Massage (IASTM) and plans to obtain an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in the foreseeable future.
