Anisha Varghese, PT, DPT, OCS, LAT, ATC, CES, has athletic training and physical therapy credentials which allows her to bridge the gap between on field management and off the field rehabilitation. She completed her undergraduate degree at Stony Brook University in Athletic Training and her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Dominican College. Through her educational career she has been part of the athletic training honor society Iota Tau Alpha and earned the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award.
Anisha was able to sit to become a board-certified specialist in orthopedics within two years of graduation making her part of 5.5% of the PTs in the US who hold the OCS certification. She works with the outpatient orthopedic population as well as the industrial setting with regular and tactical athletes. Anisha also serves as a clinical instructor to physical therapy students. Anisha has conducted and presented her research in concussion reporting in collegiate athletes as well as assessment of job demands in police officers and its association with limited flexibility and movement patterns.
