Elizabeth is a results-oriented professional with extensive hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cash management and controls and effective in reorganizing, streamlining and strengthening operations to maximize performance and profitability while still maintaining the highest level of patient care. Joining MOTION PT Group at inception in 2015 as its’ Chief Financial Officer, Elizabeth manages financial analysis, budgeting, purchasing, facilities management, IT, risk management, banking and audit functions as well as due diligence on acquisitions services to this private equity backed, acquisition oriented physical and occupational therapy organization covering hospital management contracts as well as outpatient services spanning four states.

Elizabeth was first exposed to the healthcare industry, and the intricacies of Medicare and Medicaid, as CFO of Caring Hospice with operations in five states and was instrumental in setting up key measurement metrics to optimize productivity as well as diligence on acquisitions. Elizabeth was also controller for a for-profit hospital group as well as for a European proprietary high-end dental implant and ambulatory surgery center operation with oversight in sales and marketing.

Prior to becoming involved in healthcare Elizabeth was involved in the transportation industry transitioning from public accounting to a CPA client, Kerr Steamship Company, which at the time was the largest ocean transportation agent in North America with 1000+ employees representing 30+ foreign shipping companies. Elizabeth chartered the financial path of this $100 million entity comprised of ocean transport, container/chassis maintenance and repair, stevedoring and terminal operations where she served at CFO for fifteen years and was integral in the sale of the company. This was followed by a CFO role in JV backed container and chassis repair operation spanning 7 states and played a major role in acquisitions and the eventual sale of the business and wind down of the Company.

Elizabeth Jennings is a licensed CPA through the state of New Jersey and a graduate of New York University where she received her BS in accounting and Minor in Finance and began her professional career at the public accounting firm of Grant Thornton in New York, NY. Elizabeth has always been involved in volunteer service and is currently on the Finance Council of St. Catharine Church in Spring Lake New Jersey.
