Aparna Mudholkar, MS, OTR/L, CHT has 29 years of hand rehabilitation experience and has spent 22 of those years practicing as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). She specializes in hand and arm trauma, hand rehabilitation and custom orthosis fabrication. Aparna’s dedication to hand therapy is driven by the opportunity it provides her to help people regain their hand and upper extremity function and to bring a smile to their face! Outside of the office, Aparna enjoys tennis, traveling with her family and staying fit with kickboxing and yoga.
Joanne Rowe MS, OTR/L, CHT is a 1994 graduate of Columbia University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Over the next five years she practiced OT at two New York City teaching hospitals working in various treatment settings. Joanne developed a love of orthopedic upper extremity rehabilitation and decided to specialize. In 1999, she completed a hand therapy fellowship and upon return to New York became a Certified Hand Therapist. For the next 17 years Joanne enjoyed working at a private hand therapy practice in Manhattan. Upon moving to Connecticut, she joined MOTION Physical Therapy at their Danbury OT location. Joanne is a certified practitioner of Kinesiotaping, Myofascial cupping and Instrument- assisted soft tissue mobilization. She takes joy in and is grateful for the opportunity to help people on their road to restored motion, strength, and pain-free function.
