Physical TherapistRob Feehley, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, graduated from the physical therapy program at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore in 1987. Before starting his outpatient physical therapy practice, Rob worked as a senior therapist and manager for a large orthopaedic and sports medicine practice. He was involved with recruiting and mentoring new staff, managing day to day operations, and marketing to physicians and to the community.
Rob has worked with a great deal of spine patients in the outpatient setting. His desire to provide the best possible care for this challenging population led him to take several post-graduate courses in the evaluation and treatment of the spine. Ultimately, Rob achieved certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine through The McKenzie Institute in 1994. Seeking recognition for his advanced skills with general orthopaedic patients, Rob became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 1997 through The American Physical Therapy Association. Currently, Rob is one of only two therapists in the State of Maryland to simultaneously hold both certifications. Rob received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from EIM University in 2016.
Rob has accepted invitations to teach at various PT, PTA and Physicians Assistant programs. Rob has taught The McKenzie Approach to the master’s and doctoral physical therapy students at The University of Maryland, Eastern Shore for over a decade. Rob’s personal commitment to health, healing, and the practice of physical therapy gives him the passion and experience to provide quality rehabilitation services to the surrounding communities.
