Speech TherapistKarly Beaty, M.S. CCC-SLP, received her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University in 2019. She is currently licensed to practice speech-language pathology in Maryland. Throughout her training and career, Karly has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, schools, nursing and rehabilitation centers, home health care, and acute care hospitals. Through her work in these settings, Karly has gained experience in the treatment of pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics with a wide variety of diagnoses and diverse therapy needs. Her areas of particular interest include cognitive communication, dysphagia, assistive and augmentative communication (AAC), and early language development. Karly is certified in LSVT Loud and enjoys helping individuals with Parkinson’s and related disorders regain their voices. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, do-it-yourself home projects, and traveling to visit her family in Florida.
