Kirsten Ferguson, MS, CCC-SLP, received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University. With over 40 years of clinical and leadership experience, Kirsten has enjoyed an exciting career dedicated to serving adults and children in healthcare settings including acute care, pediatric specialty and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, senior living and skilled nursing centers. She has extensive experience with children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders. She has many clinical areas of pediatric specialization including disorders related to: swallowing, motor speech, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, receptive-expressive language, pragmatic language, attention and learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, phonological processes, articulation, stuttering, augmentative and alternative communication, traumatic brain injury and voice dysfunction. She also has many areas of adult specialization including impairments related to: dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, stroke, Alzheimer’s Disease, neurodegenerative disorders, traumatic brain injury, tracheostomy and ventilator dependence, head and neck cancers, and voice dysfunction. She is a certified LSVT-LOUD provider and Vital Stim-DINES provider.
