Danielle Kagan OTR/L, CHT, CEAS
Occupational TherapistDanielle Kagan, OTR/L, CHT, CEAS graduated from Boston University in 1995 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. In 2001, Danielle received her Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) and more recently she received a Certification in Ergonomic Assessment (CEAS). Danielle began her career working in short term rehabilitation before specializing in hand therapy. She credits her love and passion for hand therapy to her mentors that she worked with at Mount Sinai Medical Center. In 2000, Danielle joined STAR (now known as MOTION Midtown East), where she had the opportunity to establish the Hand Therapy Department and has been here ever since. She loves working with patients and making sure that they get the best care possible. Danielle has had the chance to work closely with many surgeons and has enjoyed both learning from and mentoring colleagues over the years. Currently, Danielle works in both New York and Connecticut. She has run 3 marathons, although spends more time on a spin bike these days. When not working, Danielle can be found spinning, getting crushed playing sports with her sons or long walks with her husband and dog.
