Irene Lee PT, DPT, SCS
MOTION Director of Mentorship and EducationIrene Lee, PT, DPT, SCS, is MOTION PT Group’s Director of Clinical Education and Mentorship. Irene is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, HSS Rehabilitation Credentialed Advanced Hip Specialist, Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner, Certified in Myofascial Decompression (“cupping”), and RYT 200 hour Yoga teacher. After receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University, she went on to gain a wide variety of experience in sports/orthopedics from several esteemed hospitals and private settings in NYC and NJ.
Her love in sports is continued by being one of the medical providers for Rugby United New York (NYC’s professional rugby league), and volunteering as medical staff for events such as the NYC marathon, American Volleyball Professions tournament, NYC Cup soccer tournament, and Play Rugby USA. Irene has been invited several times to join the Sports Medicine Staff at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO to assist Team USA athletes to prepare for the summer and winter Olympics, as well as traveled with the NYC Handball team to China for the first Women’s Super Globe competition.
