Joanne Rowe MS, OTR/L, CHT
Occupational TherapistJoanne Rowe, MS, OTR/L, CHT, is a 1994 graduate of Columbia University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Over the next five years, she practiced occupational therapy at two New York City teaching hospitals working in various treatment settings. Joanne developed a love of orthopedic upper extremity rehabilitation and decided to specialize. In 1999, she completed a hand therapy fellowship and upon return to New York became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). For the next 17 years, Joanne enjoyed working at a private hand therapy practice in Manhattan. Upon moving to Connecticut, she joined MOTION at their Danbury location. Joanne is a certified practitioner of Kinesiotaping, Myofascial cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). She takes joy in and is grateful for the opportunity to help people on their road to restored motion, strength, and pain-free function.
