Mike Katzburg received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University at Albany, where he studied finance and accounting. After working in the financial industry, Mike realized his true calling was helping others promote a healthier and more active lifestyle. During his time as an undergraduate, Mike became a NASM certified personal trainer. He began working in several gyms, as well as training clients privately.

During his time at Stony Brook University, Mike gained experience working through varying clinical affiliations including orthopedics, skilled nursing, and head injury/neurology. These experiences have facilitated a well-rounded therapy treatment approach encompassing a wide variety of patient impairments.

Mike has remained an active learner in the physical therapy and personal training field. He feels that it is of vital importance to stay up-to-date with the most current evidenced based practices in order to treat his patients with the utmost quality. Mike has taken courses in Mulligan mobilizations, rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee in the athletic population, as well as McKenzie treatment of the lumbar spine. In his free time, Mike enjoys staying active, enjoying outdoor activities, and playing guitar.
