The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives forever. Throughout this time, MOTION has been at the forefront of working with renowned physicians to help many patients on the road to recovery, including Nitza and Ernesto (featured on 60 minutes).

Most people who contract COVID-19 recover fully and quickly, but some individuals experience longer-lasting symptoms, often for many weeks or months after initial infection. The World Health Organization recently defined this condition, often called Post-Acute COVID Syndrome (PACS) or Long COVID.

They have defined this Post-COVID-19 condition as people experiencing symptoms (usually within 3 months of contracting COVID-19) that last for at least 2 months and don’t have an alternate explanation. The common symptoms have a general impact on everyday function and can include:

  • Fatigue and weakness
  • Dizziness and confusion
  • Shortness of breath
  • Heart rate variability
  • Muscle/joint pain and swelling
  • Headache

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms after otherwise recovering from COVID-19, we are uniquely qualified to help. Our team is trained in post-COVID treatment approaches and will help you safely get back to what moves you.
