Stacey received her physical therapy degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is licensed to practice physical therapy in New York and Connecticut. She has more than 23 years of extensive clinical experience in the treatment of orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, and sports-related injuries. Most of these 23 years have been in outpatient clinics. However, her broad base of experience also includes work in hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation centers, and several years of home care physical therapy. Stacey has been using manual therapy techniques for many years with great clinical success and patient satisfaction. She has also developed expertise in the treatment of the upper extremity to include splinting of the wrist and hand. Stacey is also proficient in and enjoys utilizing various taping techniques to enhance her patients’ recoveries – earning her the nickname of “the taping guru” amongst her colleagues. Stacey decided to become a physical therapist when she went through almost a year of extensive physical therapy following two knee surgeries. When Stacey is not hard at work helping her patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, she can be found spending time with her family and friends, gardening, reading, and volunteering her time at her daughter’s school with varied extra-curricular activities. She also likes to travel and experience shows on Broadway.
