Stacey Leeds PT, CHT, received her physical therapy degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is licensed to practice physical therapy in New York and Connecticut. She has more than 24 years of extensive clinical experience in the treatment of orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, and sports-related injuries. Most of these 24 years have been in outpatient clinics. Stacey has been using manual therapy techniques for many years with great clinical success and patient satisfaction. She has also developed expertise in the treatment of the upper extremity to include splinting of the wrist and hand. With her passion for upper extremity and hand rehabilitation – she achieved the unique distinction of being a Physical Therapist AND Certified Hand Therapist, and is shifting her focus of treatment to be predominantly of the upper extremity. Stacey decided to become a physical therapist when she went through almost a year of extensive physical therapy following two knee surgeries. When Stacey is not hard at work helping her patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, she can be found spending time with her family and friends, gardening and reading. She also likes to travel and experience shows on Broadway.
