Physical TherapistCristelle Lobo, PT, DPT, is a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from New York University (NYU), graduating in 2019. She also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India. She worked at a sports clinic catering to marathon runners in Mumbai, India for a year before her doctoral degree at NYU closely working with runners for gait evaluation and picking ideal shoes for running based on gait analysis. Since entering the field, Cristelle has been working in outpatient rehabilitation, specializing in orthopedic conditions.
With expertise in dry needling, kinesio taping, dynamic taping and manual therapy techniques, Cristelle helps patients achieve optimal recovery by focusing on movement quality. Her belief in the power of proper movement is central to her approach—“movement is key, and form follows function.” Her own interest in physical therapy was sparked in high school when she saw the remarkable improvements in her grandmother’s shoulder rehab, leading her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others regain their mobility and quality of life.
