Mira Chanowitz PT, DPT
Physical TherapistMira Chanowitz, PT, DPT, earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University. During her academic training, she gained diverse clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient acute care, and within the NYC Department of Education. Mira brings experience working with medically complex children in school settings, including those with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and rare genetic conditions.
Dedicated to helping both pediatric and adult patients achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life, Mira is passionate about fostering functional independence and overall well-being.
Outside of her professional role, Mira enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming, long walks, and spending time at the pool or beach, which she finds restorative and energizing.
