					After years of pain, immobility and even ineffective PT by another person, I am THRILLED with the support I received from Ellen at Motion. I came in with very limited range of motion, constant and extreme pain in my shoulder, and with the feeling I would eventually need surgery to heal whatever was going on. Ellen was incredibly attentive, thorough, and supportive. She is empathetic, really listened to me and figured out exactly what was going on with my shoulder. The bodywork she did was excellent and highly effective (and I’m very picky in this department). The exercises she had me do were appropriate for the different stages I went through. I can say with confidence that my shoulder is finally healed — something I didn’t think was possible (after seeing 3 doctors and two PTs). Ellen truly changed my life. I can’t recommend her enough. She’s a gem and a true healer.



Being assigned to one therapist for the 6 weeks of treatment made the sessions more effective as well as personalized. Other PT clinics assign you to whoever is available. I appreciated having one person to work with who really knew where I was in my healing journey.



The rest of the staff at Motion were very personable and supportive. The clinic is lively with laughter.

					Motion PT helped me gain a better level of mobility and comfort. The staff are caring, friendly and attentive. The environment is clean and welcoming. Clients are monitored when exercising independently. At-home physical therapy activities are given as follow-up to complement the in-house program. If needed, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Motion PT in Newburgh.

Hi so this is 12/24 and I got my second knee replacement.  I’m seeing Matt again no other place I would go but there.  We get to feel happy there with Joe, and upon entering the office we are greeted by Angela with a beautiful big smile

					MOTION Sports Medicine is a BIG step above the last physical therapy business I received services from. Everyone is professional, caring and knowledgeable in their field. Matt is excellent, very knowledgeable, and listens to his patients needs as a PT, and Joe is a wonderful assistant who brings humor with professionalism to each patient. 					The folks who work at Motion in Newburgh are awesome! They’re professional in their work and still friendly, helpful and courteous. Matt is an amazing Physical Therapist who always takes the time to discuss pain points, necessary treatments and focuses on the patient’s needs. Joe and Annette assist in the treatments/workouts with much patience and knowledge. 					I am just finishing up my PT after having knee surgery.  I had done nine sessions of PT at Cornwall Hospital previously .  Even though Cornwall was larger and more modern I felt Motion was a much better fit for me.  It was smaller and more intimate.  I always look forward to going to Motion.  Everyone is nice and they all seem to enjoy what they were doing.  They were so friendly and really cared how you were progressing.   I highly recommend them .
