MOTION’s Wellness Programs

Have you ever had a question about your physical health, but weren’t quite sure you needed physical therapy? MOTION’s Wellness program might be exactly what you need!

Whether you’ve graduated from physical therapy or are trying to prevent getting hurt in the first place, Wellness@MOTION can help you reach your goals with the following self-pay programs:

  • Annual Wellness Checkup: An annual wellness check up with a MOTION therapist will help maximize your movement. After your course of therapy is completed, check in with us annually to ensure you stay at peak performance.
  • Ergonomics: Ergonomics focuses on strategies that allow you to move in the most efficient manner possible, with the least amount of strain on your body. A Certified Ergonomics Specialist will assess your workstation, help improve your posture, and decrease your risk of repetitive stress injuries.
  • Strength and Conditioning: The Strength and Conditioning program is designed to emphasize performance, identify potential weaknesses and correct them with specialized exercises that will improve strength, balance, and flexibility. You will work one-on-one with a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to achieve optimal performance.
  • STAY in Motion: STAY in MOTION allows discharged clients to maintain their progress and exercises under the supervision of a MOTION therapist. You will exercise in the same location as your physical therapist to ensure proper technique and keep you motivated.
  • Yoga: Yoga incorporates poses and movements with breathing exercises and meditation. A Certified Yoga Instructor will help improve circulation, muscle elasticity, balance, and increase range of motion.
  • Golf Performance: Improve your game with a TPI Certified physical therapist. Identify physical limitations in your body that may adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. We will treat restricted joints and postural distortions to improve the quality of your swing.
  • Foot Orthotics: Orthotics provide stability and improved function by controlling range of motion and posture. An evaluation from a physical therapist who has been specifically trained to look at the key points of your foot/ankle biomechanics will help decide if orthotics will be appropriate.
