Movement is something to be thankful for—and one of the best ways to show gratitude is to use it every The holidays are busy—but even a few minutes of movement can boost your mood, energy, and resilience. This month’s challenge is all about small, consistent steps.

Your challenge:
Pick any 12 days in December and complete at least 5–10 minutes of intentional movement each day.

Ideas to get started:

  • Take a brisk walk around the block (or inside if it’s icy)
  • Do a gentle stretch break between holiday tasks or work meetings
  • Try a short balance routine while brushing your teeth or waiting for the kettle to boil
  • Do a few sit-to-stands from a chair, focusing on control and posture
