Thomas Tilton PT, DPT, USAW, SFMA
Physical TherapistThomas Tilton, PT, DPT, USAW, SFMA, is a skilled physical therapist with a strong background in sports medicine and performance training. A former collegiate football player, he earned both his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sacred Heart University.
Thomas completed a select clinical affiliation with the San Francisco Giants, gaining advanced experience treating sports-related injuries and working directly with Major League Baseball athletes. He also trained in cardiac rehabilitation at NYU and orthopedic rehabilitation at St. Charles Hospital.
With experience in both clinical care and the private sports performance sector, Thomas integrates current research, sports science data, and manual therapy to help patients reach their goals. He has worked with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels and has served as a consultant on speed development, hamstring injuries, and return-to-play strategies.
His clinical interests include shoulder and knee conditions, sports injuries, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Outside of physical therapy, Thomas coaches varsity football, serves as a strength and conditioning coach, and remains active in his community.
