Occupational TherapistNatasha Hakata, MS, OTR/L, CHT holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from New York University. Sparked by a fascination with anatomy and neuroplasticity, she pursued upper extremity specialization immediately upon graduating and achieved certification in hand therapy.
With her experience in outpatient hands, adult and geriatric home health, and adjunct teaching anatomy, she continually seeks to grow through collaboration and further study of rehabilitation. Natasha’s approach to patient-centered care stems from a belief that empathy for individuals and their specific therapeutic needs is at the root of recovery towards functional independence in meaningful occupations.
Outside of the clinic, Natasha can be found in the arts, appreciating time with family and friends, or chipping away at an ever-growing stack of books and plays.
