
Tony Corso PT, MSPT
Physical TherapistTony Corso, PT, MSPT, went to CW Post on a track scholarship and graduated in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a master’s in special education. That same year he became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Working as a substitute teacher till 1980, he was the Head Athletic Trainer for School District 60, Pueblo, Colorado. He returned to NY in 1984 when he entered LIU Brooklyn’s PT program where he received another bachelor’s in health science and another Master’s in PT. Four years after graduating Tony opened Corso Physical Therapy in Hauppauge, followed by Corso Rehabilitation in Huntington Station in 1994 and Corso Rehab of Northport in 1997. Tony has an extensive background in sports and orthopedic medicine with additional interests in pediatrics and vestibular dysfunctions. He was a collegiate All American in the decathlon in 1975 and still has the school record at CW Post. With more than 60 races under his belt, he continues to do Triathlons throughout the country both for charity and personal pleasure.
